What is this About?
Since 2020 I have been privileged to be part of the Lonrix team working on Juno Cassandra, our emerging framework for Infrastructure Deterioration Modelling. I have also been involved in some interesting Data Analysis projects to develop Machine Learning models for prediction of road network deterioration.
As part of this work, I often run into interesting challenges or encounter observations I would like to share with friends, clients and the wider industry I am involved with - especially with Beta users and early adopters of the wider Juno Asset Management ecosystem.
It is my hope that this blog can serve as a non-intrusive way for me to share all things Data and Juno that I find interesting and about which I have an opinion. Please note that all content and opinions are my own and not those of Lonrix Ltd.
What Can You Expect?
For the time being, I expect that the bulk of my content will deal with Juno Cassandra (which occupies most of my waking thoughts!). So, if you are interested in following the development of our new Infrastructure Deterioration Modelling framework or if you consider contributing as a Beta-user, following this blog would be a good start.
I also hope to share short observations about other projects I am working on - mainly those dealing with data analysis related to road network performance and prediction. This includes interesting findings related to Juno Intelligence, our platform for extracting infrastructure asset information using Video Recognition and Artificial Intelligence.
Finally, I am also passionate about literature, history and philosophy, so from time to time, you may run into a short quote or commentary about an interesting book I am reading.
Realistically, in the long run I hope to make at least one post every two weeks. Ideally, I hope to post between one and three times a week, keeping posts as succinct as possible.
